Between ‘the Cotswolds’ and the eastern banks of the Severn, lush grasslands stretch out in a flat expanse of land called the  Severn Vale. The rich pastures and gentle hillsides have made this country historically popular for dairy farming and the production of cheeses.

Wetlands in the Severn Vale are home to an abundance of birdlife and animals such as otters and water voles.
